The use cases are:
- Any use case you need a directory service similar to an on-premises AD
The differences:
- You don't have to take care of the VMs hosting the AD (2 DC VMS will be deployed but managed by Microsoft in Azure)
- You are not allowed to extend the AD schema in AADDS (as far as I know today)
- You are limited in the OU structure for replicated objects (User, Groups) from Azure AD (you can't move objects in other OUs, You can't create objects in this special OUs manually)
