Entra ID update issue with Okta being connected for our MFA

Microsoft claims that we need to upgrade our Azure AD (Entra ID) on premises to cloud agent. The installation goes great. When I try to connect to Azure AD, I get the error message attached. We implemented Okta two years ago and didn't have an issue with upgrades until this version.

I tried to navigate to the URL listed with no response. I tried running the /interactiveauth command with the same results. With a deadline looming, I need to find a solution.

    @Ed Gray

    Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

    As I understand you are trying to upgrade your Entra connect to latest version and you are getting error.

    Usually, this error comes up when Entra connect is unable to communicate with Entra ID.

    In the recent releases of Entra connect the communication happens via TLS 1.2. Make sure TLS 1.2 is enabled in your Entra connect server.

    You can refer to below article to get the script to enable the same,

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/hybrid/connect/reference-connect-tls-enforcement#powershell-script-to-check-tls-12

    Let us know if this works.
