Cannot create MAP visualization in dashboard in Databricks

Question

I want to create a MAP visualization in the Databricks dashboard, but there are no options for map visualization. Map visualization is created in the SQL editor but when I tried to import that visualization to the dashboard, It did not show that visualization.

As per your screenshot, the dashboard visualization menu lacks a specific map option, suggesting it might not support direct map visualization creation. Ensure that your Databricks version supports the type of map visualization you’re trying to create. Some advanced visualization options might only be available in certain versions or may require specific configurations. You could try creating the map visualization directly in the SQL Editor and then use the "Publish" or "Save as Dashboard" feature within the SQL Editor to ensure it’s added correctly to the dashboard. Alternatively, If the map visualization is crucial and not directly supported, consider exporting the data and using a tool that specializes in geospatial visualization.
