I am unable to install MS SQL Server Express Edition 2022.
The following error message is thrown while installing:

Unable to install SQL Server (setup.exe).
Exit code (Decimal): -2068119551 Error description: Attempted to perform an unauthorized operation.
SQL SERVER INSTALL LOG FOLDER

Erland Sommarskog 128.7K Reputation points MVP Volunteer Moderator2024-08-31T13:06:49.01+00:00 In the folder pinpointed in the error message, you find a number of log files. The ones of most interest are summary.txt and deails.txt.
Given the error message, I am also interested to know which anti-malware software you are using.
