Hi,

When we copy or move a file/ folder to the computer, instantly Windows Defender scan the file/ folder.

For example, when we copy or move a file/ folder from a flash drive to the computer, Windows Defender instantly scan it.

Without turning off Windows Defender, can I copy or move a file/ folder to the computer without scan?

If yes, please let me know, how?

With Regards

    No.
If real-time protection is enabled, files are scanned before they are accessed and executed. The scanning scope includes all files, including those on mounted removable devices such as USB drives.
If you trust the files, temporarily turn off real-time protection then move them to the exclusions folder, Windows Defender will not scan them now.
