Dear Community,

I am implementing an Hybrid Config between Exchange 2013 to office 365, after successfully running the Hybrid Configuration Wizard, I got one warning about the OAuth that will need to be setup manually, but still I can not see any migration endpoint created. I noticed connectors are well in place but if I click on the Office 365 from EAC, I just got a black screen and I cannot connect, can someone help?

Br,

Rdelta

    Hello, @Rdelta,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform!

Based on your description, I understand that you got a warning that OAuth needs to be set up manually and could not see the migrated endpoints after successfully running a hybrid deployment between Exchange 2013 and Office 365.Besides this, you got a black screen and could not connect after clicking on the Office 365 from EAC.

Before we begin, I recommend that you troubleshoot your hybrid deployment as provided in Troubleshoot a hybrid deployment | Microsoft Learn.

From the error message you provided, it seems that you need to configure OAuth authentication manually, please make sure that you have enough privileges to perform these operations before configuration. To learn about the permissions required for configuration and the detailed configuration steps, you could refer to this document: Configure OAuth authentication between Exchange and Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn.

Regarding your reference to not seeing any migration endpoint created, it may be caused by configuration mistakes. To resolve your issue, it is recommended for you to enable Hybrid Modern Authentication (HMA) for all virtual directories and confirm that your Office clients are compatible with Modern Authentication. You can complete these by referring to this document: Configure Exchange Server to use Hybrid Modern Auth - Microsoft 365 Enterprise | Microsoft Learn.

If you see a black screen when you click Office 365 from the EAC and are unable to connect, it may be due to a browser or network issue. I suggest you try the following solutions.

    1. Ensure that your internet connection is working and that no firewalls or proxy servers are blocking access.
    2. Try using a different browser or device to access EAC.

I hope the documentation and methods I have provided will solve your problem. If not, in order to resolve your issue as quickly as possible, please provide a screenshot of the warning you received from OAuth in your free time. If it's convenient for you, please describe in detail the black screen you get after clicking Office 365 on EAC, such as how long the black screen lasts, whether the black screen has a text description, whether there is any difference between the end of the black screen and before clicking Office 365 and so on.
