To add or edit rules in the Azure CDN Verizon Rules Engine using either the API or Azure CLI, specific commands and parameters must be utilized. The process involves creating delivery rules, defining their conditions, and using the appropriate syntax for both adding and modifying these rules:

To add a delivery rule to a CDN endpoint, the Azure CLI command to use is:

az cdn endpoint rule add --name <endpoint-name> --resource-group <resource-group> --profile-name <profile-name> --order <order> --rule-name <rule-name> --action-name <action-name> ...

When editing rules, similar command syntax is utilized with variations based on the desired changes. To modify existing rules, one can first retrieve the current configurations and use the same add command by specifying the adjustments. The command structure is:

az cdn endpoint rule add --name <endpoint-name> --resource-group <resource-group> --profile-name <profile-name> --order <order> --rule-name <updated-rule-name> --action-name <updated-action-name> ...

Ensure you are using the correct rules engine for your needs - the HTTP Large tab is generally used for Azure Blob Storage configurations.

Use the Azure CLI commands stated above, replacing placeholders with actual values relevant to your configuration.

Once rules have been added or edited, ensure to deploy them. This process may take time to propagate across the system.
