Windows 10 LTSC 2019 to Windows 11 subscription license with Microsoft Enterprise E3 activation

Hi all,

I have question about activation for Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 to Windows Enterprise E3 or E5 licenses.

I need to fresh install Windows 11 Enterprise and activate with Windows subscription activation.

The article "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/windows-subscription-activation?pivots=windows-11" mention "Product key-based Windows Enterprise software licenses can be transitioned to Windows Enterprise subscriptions." But I found Windows 10 LTSC 2019 license key cannot be use or change in Windows 11 Enterprise. It cannot make the Windows subscription activation work.

Any way I can use Windows 10 LTSC 2019 license to enable windows subscription license?

Hello,

Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 licenses cannot be directly used to activate Windows 11 Enterprise through Windows Subscription Activation.

This is because LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) versions are designed for stability and long-term support, and they do not support the same activation methods as other versions of Windows.

Windows Subscription Activation requires a supported version of Windows Pro or Enterprise that is not LTSC.
