I recently received an email stating that the Remote Desktop client is transitioning to the Windows app.

On this topic, what's happening with the current Remote Desktop application? will it stop being operational? or can we continue working with this application until the transition is made? Is there any deadline?

    Hi Eloy Figueroa,
Thank you for your patience while we are reviewing your query.
The current Remote Desktop application will be updated to the new version, which aims to offer a modern experience while keeping all the features you’re used to. You can keep using the current app until the update is complete, and it should all go smoothly without interrupting your work. The new app is expected to be available this fall. While there's no exact date for when the old app will stop working, it's a good idea to switch to the new one as soon as it's available to make sure you get the latest features and support
