Was working fine for several months, and now SharePoint will not sign in from WebView in a Android app built using MAUI .NET 8.0 for users who have previously authenticated. Issues started happening this week.
Tried with no effect:
(1) Cleared the app cache, deleted data on both the custom app and System WebView - no effect.
(2) Reinstalling the custom app - same sequence of issues.
(3) Other MAUI apps - same issue.
(4) Reinstalling the O365 apps (Outlook, Teams, M365) - no effect.
(5) Opened the app in the Chrome browser - so far, no issues.
Worked (but not a solution):
Resetting the device entirely, which is not a routine we would like to start doing.
Any thoughts on what could be causing the session to log out, and future attempts to log in fail?

We have the same problem with Android WebView an Microsoft 365 Login. It's not limited to the Maui app and seems to be a general problem with Android WebView (we have a custom app, where we use a Microsoft 365 Login in a WebView).
Have also narrowed it down to affecting only Android 13 and 14. It still works fine on 11.

For this issue, you could connect with the IT admin of your Office 365 organization and check whether there is any conditional access, or any policies applied on your account.
If your account's permissions and policies are not restricted, we recommend that you report the issue to the Microsoft 365 team to confirm whether the issue is from SharePoint or Webview.

We also have the exact same issue - webview on Android 13 and 14, does not sign in user - same message and behaviour as in the original post above.
Can also confirm that this is not limited to Maui but a general problem with Android WebView. Can also confirm that this is happening in multiple M365 tenancies

Hello!
I have the same problem with .NET Maui 8.0 App Sharepoint and WebView. It is only https://xxx.sharepoint.com which is not working. When I call for example "https://portal.azure.com" in WebView, the login works.
Any solutions for this until now?

Also experiencing this for React Native app with WebView. Conditional Access policies do not appear to be the root cause.
