Hi,

I have a customer that her phone will not register with Microsoft Intune. I have tried searching for it by Serial number, in Azure Portal and Intune and no luck. User can get Company Portal on there phone, can log into Company Portal, however after that process, it pops up ans shows unregistered device, so it will not let user see Microsoft Teams or Microsoft Email from our Company. I am at a lost. Is there an issue with Samsung S21 devices accessing Intune or registering those devices?

Thanks,

Frank

@Maree, Frank (Acxiom), Thanks for posting in Q&A.

For this issue, we appreciate your help to collect some information:

1.Please check if the user has been assigned Intune license.

2.Please check if there is any restriction in Devices > Enroll devices > Enrollment device platform restrictions in Intune portal.

3.Please check if the target user has enrolled device is more than a limit on the number of devices a person can enroll. The device number limit is under Devices > Enroll devices > Enrollment device limit restrictions.

4.Please check if there is any enrollment failure message in Troubleshooting + support > Troubleshoot > select the target user > Enrollment failures.

And here are some suggestions try to fix the issue.

    Suggestion 1:

Check if any work profile existing. If yes, remove it. Go to Settings > Accounts > Remove work profile.

    Suggestion 2:

Check if there's a personal email account on an Android device which will not allow for the Work Profile to be installed and set up the account. If yes, please delete all existing email accounts on the Android device (Personal and Corporate) and then do enrollment. After it finished, add these email account again.

Please try the above suggestion and if there's any update, feel free to let us know.
