Users cannot authenticate anymore with the error message: Internal error. Password validation request timed out. We were unable to either send the authentication request to the internal Hybrid Identity Service.

Make sure that your on-premises Active Directory instance is available and responding to requests from the agents.

Sync agents are green and no sync errors. Sync is on and working.
