I updated edge on a VDI Windows 10 test environment. However starting edge from a newly rollod out machine, I always get an "Welcom Back, Confirming you preferences" window. (Not the regular Welcome screen). All settings (like "Hide the First-run experience and splash screen") to suppress the welcome screen are set.
We don't want our users to go to those screens and we wan't our users to use there current profile settings.
This happens also on a newly account with no profiles yes.
I've tried to find other registry settings / files to suppres this screen (I have to go through this screen, it wil not let me do anything in edge)
May I have a check at the user's group policy settings? You can go to edge://policy and take a screenshot.

I have the same question after updating my windows i got the same exact pop up, it won’t let me do anything pressing the proceed button will do nothing and it angers me
some items are in dutch, the only strange thing I saw with this screenshot is the last entry which gives an error
Thank you for the screenshot. Unfortunately, I failed to reproduce the issue, even though I configured the same policies. Could you please provide more details? For example, do users sign into their Work/Personal account in Windows settings? Does the "welcome" tab appear only once or every time? Is there any user that does not have this issue (and what's the difference between this user and others)? What is the OS version and Microsoft Edge version?

Hi,
We have excalty same situation with our small Intune controlled device setup, where user data is being removed after every boot. I Opened issue to MS, but no luck. They just say the issue is the removal of the user data files after boot. Not that the Edge is not listening registry that in our case says:
So why in the name of Microsoft does Edge ask's questions like "Would you like to log in or sync data". And rollback to older versions does not work either.
