Hi All,

Can the Azure Analysis services Scale out cube replica be provisioned only at the time of cube processing?

No. They are provisioned permanently once added and are used to handle query workloads. They cannot be automatically provisioned only at the time of cube processing.

You can manually scale down the number of replicas after peak periods or automate scaling using Azure Autoscale based on query demand if you need to reduce costs.

Can we manually provisioned the replica when we require at the time of processing and once processing over we again remove it?

By doing first step Will this saves the cost?

yes, manually provisioning and de-provisioning replicas will reduce costs compared to having them running continuously.
