Unable to setup Hololens 2

I got a new Hololens 2 from my friend to set him up with the Unreal app I worked on. I try to go through the initial setup but get stuck on setting up the Microsoft account, a lot of time I get messages with the wrong username or password, even when I double-check both, and a few when I pass this step just to get the message "You'll need the internet for this", I do not how to pass this step. I checked everything, the device created an autopilot profile on start, and the Wi-Fi connection is good and stable. I have successfully registered a few Hololens 2 devices before and never had this problem. Please help.
