SharePoint News Post Emails Strips Images

Hello

Please i need your help on this issue.

A new problem started to occur in our tenant recently.  When sending a SharePoint news post via email the images are stripped from the email at the recipients end.  

The strange part is that you can see the images when viewing the email via Outlook on the Web, however the images are not visible when viewing in Outlook on the Desktop (Classic), the new Outlook or Outlook on iOS.

This happens on two different SharePoint sites.

Also noticed that if you select a stock image it does appears properly in Classic Outlook/New Outlook on the desktop - but no other images appear - such as the web or upload option - they are still stripped.

I tested in two completely different tenants and no issues there so not sure what could have happened in our tenant.

The last new post sent successfully was August 23 - had not done one again until September 12 - when this issue started.

    Per my research and test, this should be issue in sharepoint backend. And I noticed that some end users have the same issue. It is highly recommended that you can raise a new ticket in SharePoint feedback. And I will vote up the ticket for you. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. Thanks for your understanding.
