How do I retrieve missing 2fa Twitter credentials that didn’t transfer to new ipad?

During set-up of new ipad, from icloud backup, my X (Twitter) 2FA creds did not transfer over. Now I’m locked out of X and stuck in an X loop. X has responded to me via email directing me to reply to that email to continue with assist. I did that but my reply was bounced back (typical Twitter).
I need my old Twitter credentials restored to MS Authenticator.
Can anyone help?
