Good morning.

After installing the 2 updates in the title, the EasyDMS software, which uses "explorer" crashes while browsing folders and it is not possible to access the database data.

On the "uninstall updates" page only KB5043076 appears. If I try to uninstall it, the system eventually asks for a reboot and if I go back to the uninstall page it no longer appears. Instead, KB5041587 appears and it is not possible to uninstall it. And you cannot use EasyDMS as explained in the first lines.

Thanks

Roberto

    Hello

It sounds like you're experiencing some frustrating issues with EasyDMS after installing updates KB5041587 and KB5043079.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check for Additional Updates: Sometimes, installing the latest updates can resolve compatibility issues. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for any additional updates.

Uninstall Updates in Safe Mode: Try booting your system in Safe Mode and then attempt to uninstall the updates. This can sometimes bypass issues that prevent uninstallation in normal mode.

System Restore: If the above steps don't work, consider using System Restore to revert your system to a point before the updates were installed. This can help restore functionality without losing your data.

Contact Support: If the issue persists, it might be helpful to contact the EasyDMS support team for further assistance.
