What is the date on which the Legacy Snowflake connector will be deprecated? Despite documentation saying that it should be discontinued by Oct 31, 2024, several business units still rely on it. The date for its deprecation is currently listed as Jan 10, 2024. Is this date correct or should it be Jan 10, 2025? When will it stop working for connections?

The correct deprecation date for the legacy Snowflake connector in Azure Data Factory is January 10, 2025. This date has been confirmed in official documentation, although there was some confusion due to earlier references to October 2024.

This means that business units relying on the legacy connector have until January 10, 2025, to migrate to the newer SnowflakeV2 connector. After this date, the legacy connector will no longer be supported or functional, so it’s highly recommended to begin transitioning as soon as possible.

If you have further questions about migration or compatibility with the SnowflakeV2 connector, feel free to reach out.
