I am the owner of a databricks workspace. I want to create a metastore but I am not able to see Manage Account in databricks worksapce. I have created a premium workspace and I have a trial subscription.

    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

    • The Manage Account feature should be available in the Premium tier, but ensure that your workspace is indeed provisioned with the Premium tier. You can verify this in your Azure portal under the Databricks service plan.
    • Databricks trial accounts may have certain restrictions that prevent access to some features. The Manage Account option might be one of them. To confirm if the trial restricts this access, you can check your subscription tier in Azure or reach out to Databricks support to verify the trial limitations.
    • Even though you're the owner of the workspace, Manage Account might be restricted to certain roles or accounts. You would need to ensure that you have the Account Admin role, not just Workspace Admin.
    • Ensure that the account you're logged in with has the appropriate admin permissions for managing accounts, including access to metastore creation.
    • If you don't see Manage Account in the workspace UI, try accessing the Account Console directly by navigating to: --> https://accounts.cloud.databricks.com. Once in the Account Console, you should be able to manage metastore configurations.
