Within the BIOS enable the followings:

    1. TPM 2.0
    2. Secure Boot
    3. UEFI boot mode

You may try Windows 11 Installation Assistant. This might handle compatibility checks differently.

    Hello Martin Relton,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

It sounds you see conflicting messages about your PC's compatibility with Windows 11.

First, ensure that your PC meets all the minimum requirements for Windows 11. These include:

    • A compatible 64-bit processor with at least 1 GHz clock speed and 2 or more cores.

    • 4 GB of RAM or more.

    • 64 GB or larger storage device.

    • UEFI firmware with Secure Boot capability.

    • TPM version 2.0.

    • A DirectX 12 compatible graphics card or integrated GPU with a WDDM 2.0 driver.

    • A display larger than 9 inches with HD resolution (720p).

If your PC meets these requirements and you still face issues, here are a few additional steps you can take:

    1. Double-check that Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 are enabled in your BIOS settings. Sometimes these settings can be disabled by default.
    2. Ensure your BIOS is up to date. Visit your PC manufacturer's website for the latest BIOS update.
    3. Make sure you're using the latest Windows 11 installation media. You can create a new USB installation drive using the Media Creation Tool from the Microsoft website.
    4. If BitLocker is enabled on your device, disable it before starting the installation process. BitLocker can sometimes interfere with the installation.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
