I changed my mobile phone and unfortunately not all log ins have been transferred to the MS authenticator app on my new phone. I do not have access my old phone anymore.

The trouble is that Microsoft won`t let me log in without confirming access through the authenticator app. Also I cannot add the account on the authenticator app on my new phone without authenticator app.

What I do have is an administrator account which is up and running but I did not find any options to add additional authentification methods (e.g. code by SMS or e-mail) for the account I have trouble with.

Can you please help with advise or even better a solution?

    Hello

Since you have an active admin account, have you tried disabling MFA authentication for the account that has the problem?

If the connection is established, you can reactivate the MFA, so the account will restart the authentication steps

    I hope this helps
