How to recover files on OneDrive that I have been locked out of

I have switched jobs, computers. While at old job, I obtained an online version of Onedrive for myself not associated with my company to use in my side business. I went ahead and purchased MS 365 for my business, and have a new computer, but now I cannot access the old files on Onedrive online. I can see the folder structure on an old computer, but no files are there. What can be done?

Which subscription did you purchase?

Could you please tell us the type of your previous OneDrive account?

Such as personal OneDrive account, or OneDrive for Business account.

What happened to your account? Was the previous OneDrive account locked by Microsoft?

Can you sign in your previous account to OneDrive online?

If not, please share us the screenshots of any error message.

• If not, but if the previous account if Business account, you may contact the admin to have a check.

If yes, for Microsoft 365 subscribers, OneDrive's Restore feature can help you undo all the actions that occurred on any files and folders within the last 30 days.
