Hello,

Please i need your help on this issue.

I have created Guest Users and invited to our SharePoint Site. I then add them to a specific sub-folders inside a main SharePoint Hub Site.

I only want them to operate inside the folder I give them access to. Although they accept the Guest User invitation and then also get my "shared a folder with you" invitation, as well as show up on the list of users who the folder has been shared with, they cannot get into that folder and instead get a "something went wrong" message with no further details about what actually went wrong.

Also, I have noticed that at the top level of the main container Hub Site, when I click on it, and the pop-up window that would normally show the "About" and "Members" information, that too says "something went wrong"... so I can confidently say I am currently very frustrated with SharePoint.

I need to be able to invite Guest Users and subsequently share folders and files with them, and not have "something went wrong" as the only response from the MS system in SharePoint.

Based on your post, I understand that that guest users get "something went wrong" error when they want to access a specific folder through sharing link.

It seems this is not a common issue per my test. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.

1.Whether all guest users occur this issue?

2.Try to share another folder with guest users, compare the result.

3.Have you made some changes for the document library where the folder exists or the hub site?
