Hello,

User is running Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Outlook for Microsoft 365 (Build 16.0.17928 64-bit).

When user receives an encrypted email, the content is not present in the Outlook client windows. Instead, she needs to follow a link in order to be able to read the message. In the attached image, you will see the link as "Read the message".

Not Working

Other users do not experience this symptom despite running the same version of Outlook and reading the same exact email message.Working

User is running Classic Outlook

  • This issue does not manifest when using Outlook on the web
  • Safe mode returns the same symptoms

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Rudy

    Hi @Rudolf Amarlapudi

    Welcome to our forum!

According to your description, an encrypted email was received in Outlook that asked you to click on the link to open it. This is a common security measure to protect sensitive information. To be on the safe side, all you need to do is open the link and log in to view the encrypted messages.
