How do I remove drop-down (type-ahead/autofill) entries from MS Teams when entering a person's name?

I need to delete old drop-down (type-ahead/autofill) entries from MS Teams when entering a person's name. Please see the following. I need to delete "Sheri Foley (External)" from the entries above.

Hi @TravelAGoGo According to your description, do you mean you don't want user to search this external user, right?

Unfortunately, there is no direct move options in search bar, but we could restrict user to search the external user from the following settings:

1. Guest Access Settings: Ensure that guest access is properly configured in your Teams admin center. You can limit who can be invited as a guest and what they can access.
2. External Access Settings: Similarly, you can configure external access settings to control communication with external domains. This can block Teams users from finding or contacting external users.
3. Admin Policies: Create and apply appropriate policies that restrict the ability of users to invite external users or to search for external contacts.
