Virtual Machine cost accruing on 10/2 for 10/1 use

I used a non-dedicated VM on 10/1 for an automated ML job. Following this, I verified that there was no VM attached to my subscription. I did leave the endpoint over night. On 10/2, my billing started at $5, then went to $7, $8, and now $10 for the virtual machine. I have verified that any charge generating services like restore/backup, disk, network, jobs, and the workspace are deleted/non-existent for my subscription. This is the response from Co-Pilot, but the articles didn't help me with my challenge.

I did re-purpose an email to support to ask them about these charges. Does anyone have any feedback about this situation?

I appreciate your help.

Michael

Hi, If you have no visible Compute machines in Azure, then double-check the Machine Learning Studio and verify that no Compute nodes have started (even Microsoft managed).

Microsoft support should be able to assist you in reviewing directly where these charges are coming from, but it does sound like a Machine Learning Compute instance was or is running, Machine Learning Studio is definitely where I would be checking.
