How to fix shifts so that when someone requests vacations and it is approved, it removes them from the schedule?

When using shifts, an employee with ask for PTO or vacation on a certain day. As the admin, I approve, but it keeps them on the schedule. Shouldn't it remove them? Is there an option to have this automatically done for you? Seems like double work to look at the schedule and approve the request, to only have to go back and manually remove the employee.

    Hi @Ko, Julia

According to our test, when a user submits a leave application and is approved, the user will not be automatically deleted from the schedule. Instead, the user will be displayed in the schedule with a gray Off icon.

This is a designed behavior. If you don't want to see the user in the schedule when he is on leave, you can adjust the view to Shift mode so that you can only see the users who are scheduled on the date.
