Code required to connect or reset a password but MFA not activated !

Hi,

I got a code request to sign-in for a password reset or some settings (but not for everything) but cannot supply the code as the MFA is not activated for my account.

While browsing my user MFA properties (general admin), MFA is desactivated but the settings are greyeid out as it has been previously activated. In any case (MFA enabled or not) I cannot change the settings, neither change my password (because of the code request at the sign-in) and hopefully the authentication for the regular access to Outlook, Teams, ... works well only with login and pwd !

Any idea to force or clean up my profile ?

Thks

Arnaud

    Dear Goutam,

It has not solved the issue but I found a workaround to change my password.

I was able to change my password clicking the forget password link at the login.

But when I try to change it through my profile (https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info/password/change) I still have this code request !

And the MFA settings stay unavailable for my user.
