Can't drag and drop from NEW Outlook desktop app to New Teams desktop app

Looks like the general drag and drop function recently got added to NEW Outlook within the past few months, but I'm not seeing too many reports of this specific issue which is..

Users are unable to drag and drop emails/email attachments from NEW Outlook(Desktop) to other applications like MS Teams(Desktop). Drag and drop to the desktop seems fine but is a bit impractical to have to do for every single file they want to throw into teams from Outlook directly.

It looks like it should allow it, but when you drop the file in it does absolutely nothing. No errors etc. Just nothing. I've confirmed it's just in NEW Outlook as Classic Outlook functions just fine as far as drag/drop into teams.

1.2024.925.200 (Production)

Already uninstalled/reinstalled. It's been happening on multiple machines/users etc. Most recent update I can see is the last comment on: Unable to drag and drop outlook attachments to file explorer after new outlook preview turned on - Microsoft Q&A

Anyone seen this recently/have a potential resolution?

    At present, New Outlook drag-and-drop has many restrictions and drag-and-drop into New Teams is not yet supported.
