I can't access my Outlook email as I'm stuck in an Authenticator loop

Hi there
I lost my phone and purchased a replacement. I've installed Authenticator app but it doesn't seem to remember me or my Microsoft 365 account. When I select 'I can't use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now' - it takes me back to Authenticator app. I'm stuck in a loop.
How can I disable authenticator? I have tried turning the phone on and off again. I've deleted and reinstalled Authenticator app. I've deleted and reinstalled Outlook app. Now I can't even get email on my iMac desktop. Please help
