how to cancel my domain Transferout request

I used following App Service Domain transfer out API which generated authCode.

PUT https://management.azure.com/subscriptions/<subscription-id>/resourceGroups/<res-grp-name>/providers/Microsoft.DomainRegistration/domains/<domain-name>/transferout?api-version=2021-02-01

I was testing it out.

I did with a believe that it will give me a warning stage prompt, and I will cancel the request.

Can someone tell me how to cancel this transferout or authcode request now.

But somehow it straightaway generated authCode and now my domain status is "Awaiting".

I urgently need to restore the normalcy.

Any help here would be high appreciated.

Thanks and regards.

    Hi @Rajnish kumar jha

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform!

To cancel the domain transfer-out request:

Contact GoDaddy to stop the transfer and revoke the auth code.

Check Azure Portal for any option to cancel the transfer in your App Service Domain.

Submit an Azure Support Request under Domain Services to explain the issue.

Avoid sharing the auth code to prevent finalizing the transfer.

App Service Domains use GoDaddy for domain registration and Azure DNS to host the domains. In addition to the yearly domain registration fee, usage charges for Azure DNS apply. See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/manage-custom-dns-buy-domain

You will need to contact GoDaddy support directly and inform them that the transfer was initiated in error and that you want to cancel the transfer.
