Hello, this problem started about 2 days ago. Whenever I try to run a game like Rocket League from Epic Games Launcher or something from Steam library like Rainbow 6 or RuneScape my computer black screens and restarts. I am not sure what the fix would be, all drivers are up to date and my windows updates are current. I did a malware and Antivirus check and everything seems clean, I can still run some games with no problem like Call of Duty or Civ6 and everything else seems to be functioning normally.

When I run command as admin and use the "sfc /scannow" it says "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them" but that has not fixed the issue yet either. What would be some steps to trouble shoot and how would I fix this issue as I seem to be stuck and I am not sure what to do

    Hello,

Since you’ve already run sfc /scannow and it found and repaired corrupt files, it might be beneficial to also run the dism tool. Open Command Prompt as administrator and run the following commands:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Look into the Event Viewer logs for any critical errors or warnings that occur leading up to or during the time of the crash/reboot. This can sometimes give you an indication of what is causing the issue.

    To access Event Viewer:

Press Win + R, type eventvwr.msc, and hit Enter.

Under Windows Logs, check both the Application and System logs for relevant error entries.
