COM add-in cannot be disabled

Question

After installing the Office 365, Word, Excel, and other products disabled COM add-ins, restarting the program still enable COM add-ins. After running Word and Excel as an administrator and disabling the COM add-ins, no change.

Hope someone can help me.

Did this problem appear in all add-ins or specific add-in?

I suggest you use the Administrator profile to login PC and check if you can disable the add-in in Office.

It is recommended that you contact your administrator to check if set the Group Policy or registry for disable add-ins.
