Clipboard not copying

The clipboard does not copy text. Already tried restarting Windows Explorer. Turned off then on in settings. I can only copy one thing at a time.

I don't understand what you mean by "I can only copy one thing at a time". Can you provide exact repo steps as to what you're doing? It could be an app issue. Also clarify how you're copying things (e.g. keystroke (which ones), menu option, toolbar button, etc).

I tried every suggestion on this problem. Then I went to a competitor site to Copilot with a Zodiac name. It starts with G. Their solution worked immediately. Yeah, I only lost two hours of my life on the other ineffective suggestions. Enjoy.

Hi Carmen,

Thanks for your post. Based on my research, seems this is a known issue in Windows 11. Kindly use the following and see if it works.

[Win + R] to open the Run Window
[services.msc] => [enter]
Click the 'Name' column heading to be sure the items are listed in alphabetical, A to Z.
Scroll down to find the item listed 'Connected Devices Platform Service'
Double-Click the item to open the properties window.
Change the 'Start-up Type' in the drop-down to 'Disabled'. Mine was set to 'Automatic (Delayed)'.
Reboot
