Hello everyone,

I’m facing an issue with Azure Front Door where the TimeToFirstByte (TTFB) metric exceeds 2 seconds when fetching a static resource (like an image or CSS file) hosted on an external website (outside of Azure). There is no caching configured for this resource in Azure Front Door.

According to monitoring, the timeToFirstByte_s is consistently above 2 seconds, even though the resource responds quickly when accessed directly from the external site.

Has anyone experienced similar performance issues when using Azure Front Door to serve external resources? Could there be any configurations I might have missed or any suggestions to reduce the TTFB and improve overall response times?

Thanks in advance for your help!
