Dear Microsoft staff,

when is it planned to be ended by Microsoft the .NET Framework support?

I have read that the .NET Framework remains in a maintenance-only phase.

When the support finish, will it be necesary to upgrade to .NET Core for keeping the Microsoft support of the desktop applications?

Thanks in advance and BR/

    Hi @Palomo Regidor, Cristina ,

According to the .NET Framework Support Policy, .NET Framework 4.8.1 is the latest version of .NET Framework and will continue to be distributed with future releases of Windows. As long as it is installed on a supported version of Windows, .NET Framework 4.8.1 will continue to also be supported.

There are no plans to stop supporting the .NET Framework at this time. Best Regards.

    Jiachen Li
