Windows Insider and block updates.

Question

I had enrolled windows insider program but the dev channel has many bugs and slowed my pc. i want to switch channel but there is no option also i had reinstall the windows still there is no going back. i just want to stop getting insider updates. can anyone help me? if possible please stop me from getting updates and go back to normal.

Hello,

If you want to stop getting updates automatically, please follow these steps:

Use the Group Policy Editor:

Press Win + R to open the Run window, type gpedit.msc and enter.

Navigate to “Computer Configuration” > “Administrative Templates” > “Windows Components” > “Windows Update “.

Double-click on “Configure Automatic Updates”, select “Disabled” and click “OK”.
