Hybrid Entra ID - I can't understand how it was set up

Hi guys,

Microsoft 365 users are synced from on-prem Active Directory.

(At least this is what I can conclude from the 365 admin center).

Interestingly AD objects are synced but I don't understand how it works.

If it makes any sense for someone please advise.

Entra Connect Health is a supplemental service. You don't need to have it configured for synchronization to work. More at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/hybrid/connect/whatis-azure-ad-connect#what-is-microsoft-entra-connect-health

In addition to my first post attaching another screenshot.

Somehow on-prem AD objects are synced to Microsoft 365 but no on-prem server specified as a sync source.

Also, it doesn't look to me that Cloud Sync is deployed.

I assume when Cloud Sync is deployed It should not look like this. Right?

Apparently you are using Connect Sync - not Cloud Sync

The issue is sorted.

The on-prem environment is synced via Azure AD Connect, but not monitored hence no server is displayed as a source.
