I have a computer hardware with: intel® core™ i7-11700kf 32GB DDR4 Ram and a motherboard Asus Z590-A LGA. I want to convert that computer into a server with window 2016 standard for small (5 computers max) network . Raid 5 is preferred ? Is it possible?

    Hi Ahmad Hussein,

Windows Server requires ECC (Error Correcting Code) RAM which is not supported by Intel core i7-11700KF. Some features of the OS may not be available if you install Windows Server 2016 on it.

The hardware requirements for Windows Server can be found here.

    Best Regards,
