Will invoking an Outlook add-in work on more than month old actionable message?

We wish to seek clarification on a specific aspect of actionable messages in Outlook. According to the FAQ on Actionable Messages, there is a limitation that prevents actions on actionable messages that are more than a month old.

Could you confirm whether this time limit also applies when invoking an Outlook add-in from an actionable message? If yes, can this be configurable? For our use case we want our actionable message to be working forever if possible.

    Hi @Sahil Doshi

    Welcome to our forum!

Yes, the one-month time limit for actionable messages also applies when invoking an Outlook add-in from an actionable message. This limitation is in place to ensure optimal performance and security.

Unfortunately, this time limit is not configurable. For your use case, you might need to consider alternative approaches, such as periodically sending updated actionable messages to keep them within the active period.

    Hope it helps!
