Why won't Outlook 365 show all my folders & contacts when I put the app on a new computer?

I just got a new PC at work and I'm trying to get the Outlook 365 App working properly on it. I can see the emails in my inbox, but all of my contacts, folders that I created, deleted emails, and sent emails are missing. I can send and receive emails OK, but I would like to get these missing items back.

Thanks you!

If this is a POP account, this page will show you how to move Classic Outlook to a new computer:

    Can anyone help me?

My contacts are missing from my other email accounts and have all been moved to ******@outlook.com

I did not request this and wonder when MS will realize that not all users are Whys Kids.

MS, please stop messing around with your users.

Hi, sorry for the lack of communication...

It has not been resolved. It seems like classic view and the new view aren't in sync. Classic view says it's connected to Microsoft Exchange, but I'm not getting new emails on it. The new view is the only one getting the new emails, but I can't get my old folders on it (that I had on my old computer). I would prefer using classic view. So it's still a problem.

    Thanks.

    Hi @Sue Singleton

    Welcome to our forum!

What is your account type (POP/IMAP/Exchange)?

If you configure your account as POP/IMAP, you'll need to import the data file to the new device. More information, see: Find and transfer Outlook data files from one computer to another and Import and export Outlook email, contacts, and calendar.

If configured directly as an Exchange account, your emails will be backed up to your email server. In most cases, you won't have a personal folder file (.pst) for these types of accounts. This happens to be synced automatically.

It is recommended that you create a new Outlook profile and add the account to the Exchange type to check whether the previous emails can be synchronized.
