Does MDT integration with Configuration Manager still work for Windows 11 deployment?

We are preparing to upgrade our Configuration manager server to version 2309 so that we can deploy Windows 11 build 23H2. I know we will need to upgrade the ADK as well. I am not able to find documentation with anything specific on MDT but we currently use MDT integration with SCCM for OS deployment task sequences. We have MDT version 6.3.8456.1000 installed on our SCCM server. Do I need to upgrade?

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

MDT build 8456 is the latest version available now, we do not need to operate it. To upgrade Windows ADK, please remove the old Windows ADK and the WinPE add-on firstly, and then download and install the new WinPE add-on and the ADK for Windows 11.

For more information, please refer to:

Download and install the Windows ADK for Windows 11

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Simon
