Steps:

  1. Maxmize a window in the first screen, such as WinMerge.exe
  2. Set the rect of the windows to the second screen, through a tool, which is called 'WinSpy.exe', the width or height need greater than or equal to the second screen.

Result:

  1. the WinMerge window is moved to the second screen
  2. but the client area is transparent and the title bar is unresponsive.

More Info:

  1. It can be any window, not only WinMerge.exe.

    3-6: it's not a issue about a particular application, but all of the win32 windows. And it's stable and reproducible on all my colleagues' Windows 11 operating systems.

    Hello Webster Xu,

    Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

    Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:

    1. Update Graphics Drivers:

    Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date. You can do this through the Device Manager or by visiting the manufacturer's website (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD, Intel).

    1. Check for Windows Updates:

    Sometimes, display issues are resolved with the latest Windows updates. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.

    1. Disable Hardware Acceleration:

    Some applications allow you to disable hardware acceleration, which can sometimes resolve display issues. Look for this option in the application's settings.

    1. Run the Display Troubleshooter:
                Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.

                Select Display and run the troubleshooter to detect and fix issues.
         ```5.	Check for Conflicting Software:
    Sometimes, third-party software can cause display issues. Try disabling or uninstalling recently installed software to see if the problem resolves.
    1. Reinstall the Application:
    If the issue is specific to a particular application, try reinstalling it.
    I hope the information above is helpful.
    If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
    Best Regards,
    Daisy Zhou
