Microsoft Edge in kiosk Mode

Hello:

I have created a new account and set up the public browsing experience in Microsoft Edge kiosk mode. However, the drag-and-drop functionality for image materials that was originally available on the webpage no longer works in KIOSK mode. Since we need to use KIOSK mode for our situation, I would like to ask if there are any solutions to this issue?

Thank you.

    Hi @Tony Lu,

Thanks for your demo. Unfortunately, it seems to be the compatibility issues between the APIs used by planner tools and Edge kiosk mode. Please kindly report this problem to the Edge Dev Team in

For a temporary workaround, you may consider using InPrivate mode or Guest mode:

    1. Pin the Microsoft Edge icon to your Start menu, taskbar, or create a desktop shortcut.
    2. Right-click to the pinned icon, then right-click Microsoft Edge and select Properties. If using a shortcut, just right click on the shortcut icon and select Properties.
    3. If Properties does not appear as an option, select Show more options or press F10. This will display a larger menu where you can find and select Properties.
    4. You should be looking at the Properties window. Select the Shortcut tab.
    5. Hover your cursor to the end of the Target text box, add one space, then type, “-inprivate” or "-guest". For example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" -guest
    6. Press OK to save this change.
