Before going further, did you back up your Outlook data (mail, calendar, contacts, etc.) before? And what was the type of your account in Outlook? POP, IMAP or Exchange? For the security of your data, it is suggested for you to firstly check if all your mailbox items has been synced to your web mail. As I know, parts of POP/IMAP mailbox data are only local stored. So, please check if there is any available Outlook data files (.pst or .ost) in your device.
Now Outlook is not working and I cannot add my email account.
Are there any specific error prompts when the issue occurs? In order to better confirm and resolve your issue, please try to provide me with screenshots of your problem here. (Notice: Please hide your personal information in the screenshot for security.)
Please try the suggestions below to troubleshot your issue:
- In order to ensure that Outlook features can work fine, please try to repair your Office and restart the Outlook client to see if the problem has any difference.
- Your delete operations may have damaged the Outlook profile and caused this issue. So please try creating and using a new Outlook profile via Control Panel > Mail > Show profile and see if the issue could be resolved.
