I looking for information on the encryption used by the Intune Remote Help feature. When a helper connects to a remote pc, is this connection FIPS 140-2 compliant?

    @Brian J, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

    From your description, I know you want to know whether the connection is FIPS 140-2 compliant when a helper connects to a remote pc using Intune remote help app.

    Based on the official document, here are the FIPS 140-2 validated components.

    • Azure and Azure Government
    • Dynamics 365 and Dynamics 365 Government
    • Office 365, Office 365 U.S. Government, and Office 365 U.S. Government Defense

    So, this connection using Microsoft Intune remote help app is not FIPS 140-2 compliant.

    Hope it will help.
