clean up old items from outlook .

i am trying to archive outlook using tools-- clean up old items , every time export 265 KB file01.pst ,.....fileox.pst

why every time export empty with 265 Kb

What's the type of your account? (POP/IMAP/Exchange)

If you have an Exchange account, please check if the offline setting is not set all emails. If so, please slide the button to cache the longest time. (File>Account Settings>Account Settings...>double click your account). Then restart Outlook to wait all emails is loaded in Outlook and try to archive again to check if there're any differences.
