Hi, does anyone have experience with in-place upgrade of Windows Server 2022 to Windows Server 2025? I have given it a try in test environment a few times without success - after cc 90% server got turned off.

    Hello

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.
    Please try the suggestions below:

1.Review the setup logs to identify where the process is failing. The logs can be found in the C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Panther directory.

2.If the in-place upgrade continues to fail, you might consider performing a clean install of Windows Server 2025. While this requires reinstalling applications and reconfiguring settings, it can sometimes be more reliable

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best Regards,

Since server gets turned off and cannot boot, I have to use bootable tool such as DaRT to access this folder which I did. Just to see how to copy logs for easier log review.
