Why are my clients recieving a verification request when booking a meeting with me, and can it be turned off?

I have been informed by some clients of an issue when using the book with me link.

They are booking a meeting slot, then being told to verify email. When doing this on a phone, they are having to leave the booking to verify, then return to the booking after by which time it is timed out.

Can anyone tell me why this is required, and how to turn it off? I have had a look around the settings and cannot seem to locate anything to do with it myself - as a non techie :)

@Monique Doney Please create a booking page and during that time add an admin on the booking page.

After that search with name of your booking page.

And you will get the below option:

If it is the one-time password mail that is being sent. You can turn that requirement off by navigating to your Booking page -> Business page access control, and then unchecking the box marked in the image below.
